Welcome to the official website of Rwanda Youth Healing Center (RYHC).
This website is meant for you, especially the youth of Rwanda. It’s your space to share your life experiences and how you managed cope in order to build your future. Please come join us in our different program events at RYHC.
I came to know about the RYHC and its work with the youth sometime in 2010, and I’m greatly honored to be the chairperson for the Local Board to work for this noble cause. Following my long experience in working with victims of trauma and peace building in post-conflict communities, where a country like Rwanda suffered the worst of genocide and other human atrocities, it has proved to me that we need to invest much in healing. I feel and believe healing is a prerequisite for any developmental activity!
We need to heal and build the future generation in all aspects, I am sure our work with the youth is of great contribution to the national, regional and international efforts towards sustainable peace and development.
I, therefore, call upon other Board members to tirelessly keep up their hard work and invite other people willing to become members of RYHC, to kindly join us in order to achieve the set mission and vision and bring positive and lasting change for our youth in Rwanda and across the world.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our U.S. Advisory Board members for their continuous support, our donors and development partners for their generosity. Their contribution is making a positive change and impact on the lives of many youth in Rwanda.
